CampusX Connect ("we," "us," or "our") is an independent education counselling service operated from Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Our website is campusxconnect.in.

We provide guidance to students on college selection and admission processes. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any college, university, or government body, including RV College of Engineering (RVCE), MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology (MSRIT), KEA, COMEDK, VTU, or AICTE.

  • Direct phone calls or WhatsApp messages — when you call or message us directly at our published phone number.

  • Cookies and analytics tools — automatically collected when you visit our website (see Section 8 on Cookies).
  • Google Ads — if you arrive at our website through a Google Ad, Google may share limited interaction data with us through Google Analytics. We do not receive your personal identity from Google as part of ad clicks.

We do not purchase data lists, scrape social media profiles, or collect personal data through any undisclosed means.

  • To respond to your counselling enquiry — calling or emailing you back after you submit a consultation request form.
  • To provide personalised admission guidance — using your course preference and location to give relevant, targeted advice.
  • To follow up on ongoing enquiries — keeping you informed about admission timelines, cutoffs, and counselling dates relevant to your stated interests.
  • To improve our website — using anonymised, aggregated analytics data to understand which pages are helpful and which need improvement.
  • To comply with legal obligations — if required by law, court order, or a legitimate government authority.

We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not use it for any purpose other than what is stated above.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party. Your data is not shared with colleges, universities, or any institution for marketing, recruitment, or any other purpose without your explicit consent.

When we may share your data

  • With your explicit consent — for example, if you specifically ask us to submit your details to a college on your behalf as part of a counselling service you have paid for. We will always inform you before doing this.
  • With our internal team — our counsellors and administrative staff who need your details to provide the service you requested. All staff are bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • With technology service providers — such as website hosting, email delivery, and analytics providers. These providers are contractually obligated not to use your data for any purpose other than the service they provide to us (see Section 7).
  • With law enforcement or government authorities — only when legally required to do so, and only to the extent required.
We will never share your data with a college or institution without telling you first and getting your agreement. Our role is to guide you — not to pass your information on without your knowledge.

Children's privacy

Our counselling services are primarily used by students aged 17–22 who are applying to undergraduate programmes, as well as their parents or guardians. We recognise that some of our users may be minors (under 18 years of age).

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 years of age without verifiable parental consent. If you are under 18, we recommend that a parent or guardian review this Privacy Policy alongside you.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data without your consent, please contact us immediately at info@campusxconnect.com and we will delete the information promptly.
